As they face danger and unravel clues, the restraint both Bo and Nic use by not acting on their strong desire for each other adds new dimensions to their personalities.

Judah Raine tells an exciting story. Dialogue paragraphing slows reading momentum at times but not enough to detract from the story. The imagery, the wonderful character development so full of energy and intrigue along with the remarkable love lived and revealed enhances a compelling plot. The “bad guys” certainly give the “good guys” a run for their money. They are indeed antagonists to be reckoned with before we can see a happy-ever-after. Superb reading!

A Thick Black Line

A Thick Black Line is a tale that slowly draws the reader in and then delivers a suspense filled adventure of love, desire and inherent danger. I loved reading this book, most of the characters were charming and entertaining and their sense of humor kept me fascinated. I enjoyed the undertone of this book about one man’s quest to understand the woman he is falling for, yet he also knows that until she is ready to face the demons of her past there can be no future for them. If you love the genre of sweet romance combined with adventure then Ms Raine’s book is definitely for you and I know that I can’t wait to read more of her work. Kudos Ms Raine, you’re a truly gifted author.
